Most of them are limited editions and rarities. ‘I was always terrified of them, but they’re just an iconic character.’ Among Mr Hull’s collection of Daleks is a life-sized model that cost him over £2,000. The extravagant buy has more than earned its keep, managing to raise money for Children in Need by entertaining crowds at supermarkets.
